Dr. Robert Leisten is a board-certified with a distinguished career focused on treating foot and ankle disorders, including heel pain, and forefoot conditions such as bunions and hammertoes. Known for his precise surgical technique and compassionate care, he brings decades of experience to his patients at Diagnostic Foot Specialists, which serves The Heights, The Galleria area, and Bryan/College Station, Texas.

Dr. Leisten completed his undergraduate education at Case Western Reserve University and earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. He then completed an intensive residency at the Podiatry Hospital of Pittsburgh, where he gained specialized training in foot and ankle reconstruction. He is board certified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

The office staff is fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Leisten is committed to making quality podiatric care accessible to a broad patient population. He has a strong interest in sports-related injuries, chronic heel and ankle pain, and surgical correction of structural foot deformities.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Leisten has served in a leadership capacity as a residency director, where he helped train and mentor emerging podiatric surgeons. He is also an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, Texas Podiatric Medical Association, and Harris County Podiatric Medical Society.

Dr. Leisten maintains hospital privileges at Houston’s Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital, and The Physicians Centre Hospital in Bryan Texas ensuring comprehensive care from consultation through recovery.

Dr. Amy Haase is a board-certified podiatric surgeon dedicated to providing expert, compassionate care with a focus on sports medicine and lower extremity biomechanics. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she connects easily with a diverse patient population and is known for her thorough, patient-centered approach. Dr. Haase earned her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Des Moines University. She went on to complete her residency training at the esteemed Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia, where she developed advanced clinical and surgical skills in treating foot and ankle conditions.

Board certified in both Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, Dr. Haase is skilled in addressing a wide spectrum of conditions, from athletic injuries and chronic heel pain to complex structural deformities. Her hospital affiliations include Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital, where she provides surgical and inpatient care to patients requiring advanced treatment.

A member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Harris County Podiatric Medical Society, American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and the Texas Podiatric Medical Association, Dr. Haase remains actively involved in continuing education and professional development. Outside the clinic, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her children, embracing a well-rounded life that mirrors the balance she encourages in her patients.
